14. Cheating NZ Kid
Thursday, 21 Nov 2013
Once upon a time I was on a cycling tour of NZ and chanced upon a small hut way outside the small town of Wanaka, on the South Island.
Having nothing better to do at the time, I stopped to have a look. Turns out it was dedicated to puzzles, and even had a real live maze out the back.
Still having nothing better to do, I started looking at some of the puzzles on display, to see if I could figure them out.
I'd try for a while, get nowhere, then move on to the next one. And so it went, until that fabulous moment that I actually solved one.
Except that it wasn't fabulous at all, because I cheated by watching some small child next to me doing the same one.
Sad, huh?
