About This Ring
In the words of the creator of this ring,

"Threesome Ring is a puzzle ring for beginners.
It was designed and prototyped by Oskar van Deventer, see https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=AbExOq0IiSI.
The ring is the simplest instance of the Bram Cohen ring-creation algorithm, see http://bramcohen.livejournal.com/66883.html.
The ring has a 180-degree rotation symmetry, which enhanced its looks and create a bit of confusion to find out which ring goes where."

So how did it end up as our latest 'New Release'?

Well, it's because Carl has always been a fan of rings with multiple metal colours.

When he came upon Threesome in a forum on twistypuzzles.com he knew this was the perfect ring for the multiple-metal treatment, so contacted Oskar, who in turn contacted me.

The two of us then decided to make Threesome our next collaboration. Together with Carl we fine-tuned the design, Oskar modeled it, then I took the resultant 3D prints and did my thing, and hey presto!

The ring is quite heavy-duty, although not as much as Carl would originally have liked. In retrospect I feel like I erred on the side of moderation, so am already considering bringing out a significantly chunkier version.

The ring shown in the photos is US size 10.
