About This Ring

( * Please note that the above "Assembly Video on YouTube" demonstrates the assembly of a 6-piece RONRING, but the actions required are the same for your ring regardless of the number of bands.)

Important Note : Because this ring is so wide, you may well find that one ordered in your usual size will prove to be too tight. To acquaint yourself with this issue, I suggest that you Google "sizing wide rings" or similar. Then you will be in a better position to make a decision about what size to order.

Ron's love of Hawaii was the initial inspiration for this ring.

He wanted an 8-piece CHAIN ring so that he could have the name of one of the Hawaiian Islands engraved onto the side of each band, but I told him that there wasn't enough room.

So he suggested making a version of CHAIN that had deeper bands.

Since I thought that it would be a good idea to be able to fit engravings on the side of a ring that could have whatever number of bands a customer wanted, I agreed to create something suitable.

To cut a longer story short, RONRING is the result.

It has significantly heavier bands than CHAIN, mainly because of the extra depth mentioned above. One also needs to be more precise when assembling RONRING, since the pieces fit together more closely.
