About This Ring
This one is named after a friend of ours.

While he was staying in Chiang Mai, Yuriy was shaping up as a roving puzzle ring ambassador for us.

Partly to aid in his recruitment, and partly because we were already thinking that it was high time we had a ring with more than 4 pieces, I was ready to humour him when he indicated that he would like a 5-piece ring.

And so YURIY came into existence.

All I did was take the ORGANIC pattern, and add one extra piece.

So, the 4-piece barrier has been broken. (And not by the vaguely 'cheating' way of splitting bands into 2, which is how the original Turkish puzzle ring can be seen with 6, 8 or even 12 pieces.)

And not before time.

Now that the shackles are off, I imagine that most of the additions to our range will be of the 'more-than-four' variety.

For example, we already have four 6-piece rings in the works, and it won't be long before they make an appearance.

But more on that subject later.
